ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES I found that English this semester was a very useful field to improve my use of English. I feel that I am good at the time of understanding the language, however I do not have that same facility at the time of writing or speaking in English. I believe that it is thanks to the practical approach of the class that I was able to improve my English at the time of expressing myself, the activities in class either group or individual combined with the blogs that we wrote weekly and having to make videos ended up transforming this English course in a very useful and, to be honest, unexpectedly entertaining subject. I think one aspect that I should keep practicing, rather than writing or reading, is speaking English. In the future I want to go to study abroad so I must have the ability to make myself understood effectively. But, even though I know how most words are pronounced, I find it difficult to say them quickly in one sentence when I am speaking Englis

My (hopefully) future job In the future I would like to be linked to teaching within the university, this would not necessarily imply not letting me practice as an architect, but rather I would like to do both in parallel. History has always caught my attention, which is why I would like to take a master's degree that relates to history and heritage around architecture. Either studying the history of architecture or directly intervening in buildings with historical value. To specialize in this, I would like to study a master's degree in Italy, not only because of the historical and heritage richness of this region, but also because I have spoken Italian since I was little and personally I have already visited that country a couple of times and I really love it . The best dessert I have ever eaten It is impossible for me to finish a meal without having eaten something sweet, it can be ice cream, a cake or a fruit, but the sweet can never be missing! Among all the desserts I have tried, there is one that definitely resonates in my head and makes me hungry every time I think of it. This dessert is called gulab jamun. I know it sounds weird, but it isn’t! This dish is from the Pakistani cuisine and Indian cuisine, it consists of a dough, which main ingredients are khoya (evaporative condensed milk) and maida (flour), and which is then fried in vegetable oil in the form of small balls. Then, they are dipped in a syrup made with water, sugar, rose water, cardamom and colored with some saffron threads that give it its characteristic red color. The dish is native to eastern India (Orissa and Bengal). Although gulab-jamuns are equally popular in Pakistan and Bangladesh. A similar dish exists in Arabic cuisine that is also served as a dessert

Recommendation for series: MAD MEN - I do not feel rooted in a certain genre when choosing which series to watch. I'm not a big TV consumer in general either. But when thinking about which is my favorite series, without a doubt that series is Mad Men. Mad Men is a drama series released in 2007 from United States. My favorite musical genre (sub-genre). - Although I listen to all kinds of music during the day, by far the genre that I listen to the most is rock, more precisely indie rock. But what is indie rock? The term "indie" is a bit ambiguous, since at first it was used to refer to independent bands (those that did not necessarily have to be rock). These bands moved away from the mainstream of the genre, acquiring a more experimental tone. These days an indie rock band is generally defined by a lead guitar, energetic drums, and deep lyrics. Among the indie rock bands that I listen to are: Foals, Morrissey (solo and with the Smiths), Blur and Arctic Monckeys. On the other hand, I also listen to a lot of indie pop, which is a sub-genre of pop, but which, like indie rock, departs from the traditional parameters of its genre, using softer melodies and sometimes tending to a Lo-fi sound (low fidelity). THE NEXT COUNTRY (CITY) I’D LIKE TO VISIT (AGAIN) - I remember the last time I was in Buenos Aires, beautiful buildings, nice people, even nicer food… a really good place to be in general. The only “problem”, if you can call it a problem, is that the place is full of things that you can visit and do, so you must have a lot of time to truly experience the city. A main reason that makes Buenos Aires my next destination is the nearness of the city from Santiago (where I live), which makes the flight less than 2 hours and one of the cheapest mayor international destinations you can get. Letting aside the value of the US dollar in the black market in Argentina ( not that you should go ), that practically doubles the money that you bring there, going for a nice dinner or club doesn’t cost you a lot, and there are a LOT of nice places to go, getting around the city doesn't cost much either.
